The Project.

Helping the #1 retailer of Hunter Douglas window treatments.

Decorview was already a major established player in the world of custom window treatments, but was looking to overhaul their web presence with a greater focus on increasing conversions and customer education. Luckily, they found we were just the team to help them achieve that goal. So, we packed up our bags and flew to Portland, Oregon to discuss the project and lay some groundwork.

We started by looking at their analytics data to identify some helpful information that would guide some of the decisions to come. It was clear their products were more difficult to find than they needed to be, and their overall mission and value as a company wasn’t quite clear, leading to confused users abandoning the site after only a few seconds.

High stakes aside, we knew Decorview’s lofty goals were well within our capabilities and were more than ready to accept the challenge.

The Creative.

After the long flight home, we were anxious to break ground on the new redevelopment. Our creative team began to work on the site one section at a time, giving our full attention to every detail in the customer decision making process to maximize the value of the client’s paid search efforts. We enhanced the user experience by allowing the customer the opportunity to connect with Decorview not only for a single information request, but for multiple opportunities to capture the lead.

The Responsive.

Of course we also had to make sure the great user experience of the desktop site carried over to tablet and mobile users. We agreed redeveloping the project as responsive was the best possible option in the long-term for the client. We knew we had to keep the emphasis on the buying process, so we made sure all calls to actions were mobile friendly as well.
