Innuvo focuses on custom audio/visual installations and security systems. While Innuvo is a new brand, the team behind it has been in business for more than two decades. After serious discussion, PriVID Eye Security and Vivid A/V Solutions-the two branches of what is now Innuvo- merged into one umbrella brand.
The Innuvo team came to us with an incredible portfolio of clients, decades of experience, and a dated web presence. The challenge came in not only combining two distinctly different companies into one brand, but also representing both the commercial and residential aspects of their business. Â
From the start of this project we knew we’d have access to high quality photography of their work, so we planned for each layout to take full advantage of these assets. A large portion of their business involves technology, so we knew the brand needed to look modern and fresh. To accomplish this, we pulled out all the stops.
After we received the photos from the on site shoots, we hand-picked the best images to represent the level of quality and attention to detail shown in the Innuvo team’s work. As you explore the site, micro-animations, hover effects, and color are used to draw the eye to the key elements on each page. We developed custom icons to utilize as lead-ins to the various divisions of their business and to give the visitor a full picture of the services offered by Innuvo. The homepage was used to direct visitors to the most appropriate section of the site based on their needs. Two main funnels were implemented: A/V Solutions and Security Solutions. Within those two lead-ins, sub lead-ins for commercial or residential were added for another layer of refinement. Action-oriented audience funnels for both the commercial division and the residential division were developed based on the goal of the visitor.
Because Innuvo's target audience is busy business owners, we needed to ensure a seamless experience regardless of device or screen size. Because the design is rich with high-resolution photography, site speed and mobile load-time needed to be taken into account.
Immediately after launching the new site, performance improved so dramatically we thought the Google Analytics tracking metrics we were auditing were compromised:
