More than 600 ambitious American Dream Scholarship recipients graduate with help from the Broward College Foundation’s donors every year.

By providing innovative social services and programs to the Broward community, Goodman Jewish Family Services is dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening families, protecting the vulnerable and helping seniors age safely and with dignity in their homes.

“Bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners.” We have a focus on providing assistance to the elderly and disabled especially those living in poverty or very low-income and veterans. Our goal is to make a sustainable impact in a community via partnerships with organizations, municipalities and local civic associations.

Hosted by the American Cancer Society to raise awareness and fight breast cancer, Real Men Wear Pink participants encourage community members to take action in the fight against breast cancer by wearing pink and raising money through the fundraising challenge.

School Lunch Fairy was created to setup emergency lunch funds at public schools across the United States, so if a student does not have money for lunch on a given day, the School Lunch Fairy fund pays for their meal.

SIDES, Sydney’s Incredible Defeat of Ewing’s Sarcoma, is a 501(c)(3) foundation created in honor of Denysis and David Lister’s 15-year-old daughter, Sydney Lister. In September 2011, Sydney was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare, aggressive pediatric bone cancer.

WALK like MADD®, is MADD’s signature walk event. In 2013, in over 60 cities around the nation, thousands of people will participate in 5K events to celebrate creating a brighter future without drunk driving and underage drinking.
