Company Summary:
Supreme Hotel, Cruise & Restaurant Supply Corporation is a hotel, cruise, and restaurant supply distribution company for some of the largest foodservice manufacturers in the country.

Supreme HRS came to us looking for simplified ways to do the following:

  • Take exported customer purchase orders and automatically parse and input the order into their Inventory Management System
  • Develop a custom database for siloed product catalogs
  • Create dashboards for various roles throughout Supreme's customers' companies
  • Simplify the ordering process based on purchase history
  • Allow customers to view and order custom-priced products in their own dashboards
  • Eliminate manual quote request management and automate quote requests/answers

Custom Database Development for Siloed Product Catalogs

We developed a custom database solution for Supreme’s customers; Customizable for companies of all sizes and organized by what we call “concepts” and “user roles”.

A concept is a company, such as a restaurant, cruise line, or hotel, under a larger company’s umbrella. The parent company can have smaller concepts (smaller companies under their umbrella) and each concept can have separate locations. Not all companies have concepts under them.

The parent company and each of its concepts can have several user roles with capabilities/restrictions depending on their role at the company:

  • Owner – Can view and place orders for any concept, any location throughout the company. Can add users to any concept / location.
  • Accounts Payable –  Can view orders for its own concept, any location. Cannot place orders.
  • Regional Manager – Can view / place orders for any location under its concept. Can add users to any concept / location.
  • Manager – Can view / place orders for their assigned location.
  • Buyer – Can place orders for their assigned location. Can only view their own orders.

A solution to eliminate manual quote request management and automate quote requests/answers

FEDA API for Auto-Quotes
In each customers’ backend product catalog in their dashboard, for any product that doesn’t have a company-specific price, customers can request a quote through the system.

The quote request is then automatically sent to Supreme and when the customer signs off, the price is entered into that customers’ dashboard and they can easily order products according to pricing agreements, eliminating a lot of operations leg work on Supreme’s end and a streamlined product pricing ordering system

  • This data can be used to update back-end systems or websites and includes model numbers, specifications, list prices, physical data (weights & dimensions), pack sizes and brand names
  • Can export catalog data on over 500,000 products from over 500 published manufacturers
