FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (November 08, 2012) – Over 600 of South Florida’s hottest social notables, philanthropists and professionals attended BeachBash, part of the 17th Annual AT & T JEB BUSH Florida Classic sponsored by The Wasie Foundation and presented by Ford and Premier Beverage. Fort Lauderdale’s “Sexiest Party of the Year,” raised $98,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Thursday, November 1st at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six. Party-goers in the Panorama Ballroom and its terrace danced the night away to the hot vibe of DJ Supercede (the official DJ of the Miami Dolphins) and indulged in cocktails complimentary of Premier Beverage, and tasty delicacies from some of the area’s most popular restaurants including Valentino (sponsor of the VIP Lounge), Truluck’s, Tap 42, Hyatt Pier Sixty-Six, Rice & Dough Restaurant, Bill Hansen Catering, Chef George Catering and ARC Broward Culinary Institute.

Throughout the evening, BeachBash attendees were captivated by the magnificent chic nightclub style décor as they bid on an array of fabulous silent auctions items. Guests of the Exclusive VIP Lounge, exclusively catered by Valentino, were treated to delectable Italian specialties including Lamb Meatballs with Goat Cheese, Cruda (Italian Cerviche with snapper and shrimp) and Rigatoni Bolanese, as well as an assortment of luscious desserts including Pana Cotta, Chocolate Hazelnut Torts and Homemade Biscotti. Guests in the main ballroom and outside terrace were treated to Baja Cerviche from Truluck’s; Truffle Mac and Cheese from Chef George Catering; Wild Mushroom and Tarragon on a Goat Cheese Tostada, Lobster Rolls and Pumpkin Spice Shooters from the ARC Broward Culinary Institute; Seafood in Pastry Cups from Bill Hansen Catering; Sushi and Mini Meatballs from Rice & Dough and Caribbean dusted Mahi Mahi from the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six.
