Header Tag Optimization

Header Tag SEO Services

Header tags are one of the several means by which your website can achieve higher rankings on Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) and at Exults we know exactly what goes into the making of effective header tag optimization. The header tags you deploy convey a logical hierarchy on the web page in HTML 4.01 and HTML 1.0: H1 tags appear at the top of the hierarchy, H6 at the bottom. It is important to realize that search engines like header tags, giving the highest weighting to text contained in them.

When your primary heading is contained in the H1 tag, search engines give maximum weighting to it, then secondary weighting to H2, and so on. Accordingly, good header tag optimization should include both H1 optimization and H2 optimization. Cascading style sheets (or Css) can then be used to style each heading tag for visual impact, with the Css h1 tag being of pivotal importance. That is why we will ensure that our header tag optimization techniques extend to the Css h1 tag, too.

At Exults, we work meticulously to ensure that our header tag optimization methods result in the optimal assignment of descriptive page headers that are fully in line with the page’s keyword focus. We aim to get those search engine spiders to recognize your header tags, and we will make sure that the tags are used logically and appropriately across your pages.

Header tag optimization should also help spiders to navigate your page. Using the header tags we have optimized as anchors, your pages immediately become easier to read by the search engines (as well as by people) because they do not have to scan through every single word of text. The important data is included in the optimized heading tags. Other aspects of header tag optimization include keyword relevance – the keyword theme of your page should be reflected in the tag – and the proper use of H1 tags as the primary, top-level heading of your page. This is why H1 optimization is so critical. Of all the header tags on the page, it is the one the search engines weight most heavily. But we will also optimize H2 tags as well for maximum effect.

We also include visual style in our header tag optimization process; using different heading tags to emphasize text boldness and size can look messy. The header tag is OK for structure, but for style and visual presentation, Css is better, which is why we pay so much attention to the Css h1 tag. Css means you can change the style of your web page without having to redo the HTML code of the tags.

We understand that unstructured pages are far more difficult to read than structured pages, which is why we place so much emphasis on the importance of optimizing header tags. The search engines find them easier to read, too, and they will reward carefully optimized H1, H2 and Css h1 tags with better rankings on the results page.

  • Header tags. Header tags are very high up on the hierarchy on what search engines are looking for when they actually go to your site. They are going to start at your Meta Tags to understand about your page.
So you have up here, number 1, your meta tags, and its going to quickly lead you into number 2, which is your header tags. Now when it comes to header tag assignments, you’re going to want to make sure that your header tag is aesthetic looking and fits into the design of your website. There is many header tags that you can actually position, but I’m just going to go through the first three and you can have h1, h2 and h3. And for simplicity I’m going to use the word once again, SEO, so if we place SEO, then were going to actually close the command, h1.
This would be an h1 header tag for the word SEO and bolded out to the computer search engine robot once its reading into the actual content of your page. So you’re going to have the h1 header and then lead into actual body of the content of your web page itself. This is the component of organic search engine optimization that is done onsite.
